August Wrap-up
It's hard to believe that we're at the end of another month and that summer will soon be over. As a new feature on the blog, I'm going to re-cap the books I've read for the month.
The total number of books I've read in August is eleven - 3 ebooks, and 8 audiobooks. When I break down the primary genre for each book, I find:
Holiday books - 3
Mystery/Thrillers - 3
Contemporary romance - 2
Women's fiction - 2
General fiction - 1
I'd say that's quite a unique mixture of genres! I like to mix things up and often will choose a more challenging read followed by something a little more cozy.
I had one five star read this month - One Perfect Morning.
My favourite audiobook performance was in My Darling.
The book which brought the most views to my blog - Paris is Always a Good Idea.
Thank you for supporting my blog! You can read my reviews for these books, or any of my other previous posts, by using the search bar to the right of this post. You can search by title, genre, or if you wish, only 5 star books.
I hope you've had a great August! Stay healthy as we look forward to September.

DeleteHi! August looks great! How many pages do you read per day?
ReplyDeleteHi Postcard Stories! 8 of those books were audiobooks - I listen while I’m doing housework, going for a walk - about 2 hours a day. I read another book about 1-2 hours per day. Thanks for the question!
DeleteI love a big list because I'm always looking for that next great read to replace my last book! Thanks for sharing!

DeleteI also enjoy mixing up my genres for my reading choices. In August I read nonfiction, historical fiction, contemporary YA and middle grade, as well as picture books for review. I find changing gears like this keeps my reading interest high as a mood reader anyway. I hope you are having a great September!
