September 2020 Wrap-up

We're now into Fall and into the official start of sweater (jumper) season. For those of us who love to read, it's time to curl up with a good book by the fireplace. Although I'm not a Fall and Winter person, I've been infusing the scents of the season in my aromatherapy diffuser and lighting candles to create a sense of coziness.

I've read twelve books in September - 8 audiobooks and 4 ebooks. When I break down the primary genre for each book I find:

General fiction - 4

Holiday books - 3

Mysteries/Thrillers - 2

Contemporary romance - 1

Non-fiction - 1

Historical fiction - 1

Once again, I've chosen a wide variety of genres!

I've had one Five-Star read this month - Anxious People.

My favourite audiobook performance - Katherine Littrell in The Paris Model (I'm a sucker for an Australian accent).

The book that brought most views to my blog - Channel Kindness by Lady Gaga and the Born This Way Foundation reporters.

Thank you so much for supporting my blog! You can read my reviews for these books, or any of my other previous posts, by using the search bar at the top right corner of the page. You can search by title, genre, or if you wish, only 5 star books. I'd love if you subscribed to blog - you can do so by clicking on the Subscribe button on the black bar located to the right of any post.

Have a great October and stay safe!

  8. Great job getting through so many books. I love listening to audiobooks as they allow me to read even when I'm busy, though I haven't listened to any in a while. I haven't heard of any of these books before, so I will have to look into them.

  10. Do audiobooks count as reading? Surely you listened to them, much like you listen to music. Still, in the same time period I've listed to 0 audiobooks and read 0 actual books

    1. Of course they count! You have to listen and not tune out which not everyone is able to manage. Give it a try- you might enjoy it!
