October Wrap Up
- 5 Holiday books (to get me into the spirit for shopping)!
- 2 Contemporary Romance
- 2 Thrillers
- 1 Historical Fiction
- 1 General Fiction
As always, I like to read a variety of genres. I rarely will listen to an audiobook and read a book at the same time within the same genre. It's too challenging to keep the stories separate!
I've had one 5 star read this month - Dear Emmie Blue
My favourite audiobook performance was Erin Bennett for Troubles in Paradise.
The book that brought most views to my blog - In A Holidaze (read in September)
The blog post that generated the most comments - 7 Thrillers to add to your Hallowe'en TBR list.
Have you read any of these books? If so, let me know in the comments!
Thank you for supporting my blog! You can search for any book by name, or by genre in the search box at the top right corner of my blog. Note that some of my books read in October will have reviews published in November. Stay safe everyone and have a great November!
Wow, you read a lot of Christmassy books in October! I normally don't read those, and I was really surprised about how early they were being promoted on NetGalley this year. Goodnight Beautiful is still my favourite cover from your posts this month!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenna! Yes lots of holiday books out now!

Thanks Nancy!
DeleteI love that you've been reading holiday content to get yourself into the spirit. That's something that I usually focus on in November, however, I've done it by watching Christmas movies. I've never considered using books for that purpose, but it sounds like a great approach! Maybe this year I can get into the holiday spirit in a new way!
ReplyDeleteThanks Britt! I started watching Christmas movies last night. 😊
DeleteGreat wrap-up! I really want to read Dear Emmie Blue, it's been on my list for a while.

DeleteWhat a lovely selection! your post has just made me super jealous as I swear I never get time to read anymore :(

DeleteThat's a lot of reading! Great blog and a hell of a committed reader.
ReplyDeleteThanks Graham!
DeleteYour wrap-up post reminded me that I didn't do any blog stats this month. Perhaps I'll remember for November's.
ReplyDeleteHere in The UK we're starting another lockdown on Thursday, so I'll be buying a few gifts Monday and Tuesday.
Hope you have a good week. Stay safe. X
Thanks Flora! You stay safe as well!
DeleteWow, you've read a lot of books this month! It looks like a huge amount, all lined up in an overview post. I like the visual you've created with all the book covers, and I am feeling so ready for Christmas, even if it will be spent at home with just my hubby. I'll put some of these books on my list.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteWow that seems like a pretty productive month! I dread Christmas shopping, absolutely dread it! Maybe a few Christmas books would help with that! 😂
ReplyDeleteStay safe up there in the great white north!
Thanks Clarissa! Stay safe in Hawaii!!
DeleteLooks like you had a Christmassy October! Now that Halloween is over, I guess I can start thinking of what Christmas books to read, I have spotted a couple thanks to your blog I would like to try out. :) Hope you have a great November and good luck with your Christmas shopping!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mehsi!
Delete11 books is great, and such a good mix of genres too. I get myself in such a rut of sticking to one genre at a time, getting a bit bored then moving on for a little while x
