November Wrap Up

Hi everyone!  I hope that you are all well and looking forward to the upcoming festive season.  I've recently decorated my home for the holidays and am appreciating all the additional colour and light in my home as we approach the longest night of the year.  I am almost finished my Christmas shopping and awaiting the delivery of parcels now.  Hopefully there won't be any issues in orders going astray.  I live in a high risk household so my two short trips to the mall during quiet hours is all I want to do - especially since the area I live in is doubling the active cases every 13 days right now despite significant measures put in place.

This month, I've read a total of 11 books - 3 ebooks and 8 audiobooks.  I seem to find more time for audiobooks as I listen while walking my daily 10 km, and doing household chores.  I think once Christmas preparation is over that I'll find more time to read a book.  I've categorized the books by their primary genre:

  • 4 holiday books
  • 3 thrillers
  • 3 general fiction
  • 1 women's fiction
I've had one 5 star read this month - Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany

My favourite audiobook performance was by Tanya Eby for Happily this Christmas.

The book that brought the most views to my blog was Christmas Wishes.

The blog post which generated the most comments was The Twelve Dates of Christmas.

Have you read any of these books?  If so, please let me know in the comments.

Thank you for supporting my blog!  You can search for any book I've read by name or genre in the search bar on the top right corner of the blog on any computer.  Please note that some of the books I've read in November will have reviews published in December.  Stay safe everyone and enjoy the upcoming holiday season!

  4. A good bookish month - nice to see a couple of Christmassy titles. I've got a couple on my December TBR. ;-) My audiobook numbers have been steadily increasing this year. My monthly wrap up will go up later tonight.

  5. I wish I could say I'd read a lot of books this month but the only time I have for reading is in bed before I go to sleep. However, I am going to try for some Christmassy reads in December!

  9. Oh wow, 11 is a great number! My November was four books, which felt like an achievement after a reading slump, but hoping to pick that back up in December. You're far more organised than I am - I haven't even started my shopping yet, really must!
