My goodness, Alice sounds like she has a LOT on her plate all at once – definitely the makings of a good story to see how it all pans out!

This sounds great! Poor Alice, she has so much to deal with. I can see how it makes it a decent read though. I hope she has a happy ending! x

I've never heard of this book before but it sounds interesting – though I also don't like it when the endings are too perfect.

From perfection is a hot mess . . . sounds like one of life's curveballs to me! If a parent is all about perfection, they miss out on the struggles going on beneath the surface that they unconsciously teach their kids to hide.
I have to read this book! I love solid stories with an interesting premise and a touch of family.

Ohhh now this sounds like the perfect book for me. I love how you do your summary at the end – what you liked, what you would have changed and who it's perfect for – this book pretty much suits me perfectly. Thank you for sharing, going to buy it now!
