Snow Kissed is a heartwarming holiday romance about second chances, family, and finding love when you least expect it.

Length: 320 pages / ~ 8 hours.
Narrator: Vanessa Johansson.
Genre: Romance

Summary:
Single mom Holly Goodwin Moore is struggling to find holiday cheer as she prepares for her ex’s family wedding, where her daughter is eager to be a flower girl and Holly is dreading showing up alone. A little white lie about having a boyfriend forces her to scramble for a date, and that’s when she meets Ryan Caldwell, who’s unexpectedly spending Christmas in Shelter Springs caring for his niece while navigating strained family ties. When Holly and Ryan strike a deal—he’ll be her wedding date if she helps him create a magical Christmas for his niece—they find themselves drawn together, discovering hope, healing, and the possibility of love along the way.
My Thoughts:
I love a story about a single mother facing adversity, and one set during the holidays makes it even more meaningful. Snow Kissed follows Holly Goodwin Moore, a single mom raising her five-year-old daughter, Lydia, after her ex-husband walked out a few years earlier. When Lydia is asked to be a flower girl in her father’s sister’s wedding, Holly dreads the thought of attending alone. In a moment of panic, she tells a little white lie about having a boyfriend—and suddenly needs to find a date before the big day.
Enter Ryan Caldwell, who’s come to Shelter Springs to care for his niece, Audrey, while her mother is in rehab. When Holly and Ryan cross paths, they strike a deal: he’ll be her plus-one for the wedding if she helps make Christmas magical for Audrey. What starts as a simple arrangement soon turns into something deeper as they both find healing, belonging, and the possibility of love.
I really enjoyed watching these two grow together, and the bond between Lydia and Audrey—and between Lydia and Ryan—was so heartwarming. RaeAnne Thayne handles complex emotional issues with kindness and respect, especially those surrounding single parenthood and family challenges. I was rooting for this couple every step of the way, and I loved that they became stronger and better individuals when together.
The Narration:
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Vanessa Johansson, whose gentle and expressive performance perfectly suited the tone of the story. Her voice carried a comforting warmth that made Snow Kissed an easy and enjoyable listen.
Final Thoughts:
Snow Kissed is a tender, hopeful holiday romance that reminds us love can bloom even after heartbreak. With its mix of warmth, second chances, and snowy small-town charm, it’s the perfect read to curl up with during the Christmas season.
