I’m always drawn to stories set in this time period, and the synopsis sounds especially intriguing. According to Goodreads, it’s a great pick for fans of Lessons in Chemistry and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo—both of which I thoroughly enjoyed and frequently recommend.
