Can’t Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the Jill at Breaking the Spine. So let me introduce you my Can’t Wait Wednesday #171 pick. Click on the book’s cover to add it to your Goodreads shelf (opens in a new window).

Length: ~10 hours.
Narrator: Katherine Littrell.
Genre: Mystery, Thriller, Suspense
From The Publisher:
🇨🇦 Sydney Lowe’s life in New York is shattered when her husband, Curtis, admits to a meaningless affair with a client. Begging for forgiveness and vowing to prove his devotion, Curtis suggests the couple retreat to a remote hilltop house in Spain to repair their marriage.
High above the Mediterranean, Sydney and Curtis are working on the isolated property and their relationship when a pair of Australian travelers turns up at their door in dire need of help. Lonely for companionship and desperate for free labor, Sydney and Curtis invite the attractive young couple to stay. But as the days pass, dark secrets come to light, the Lowes’ bond is tested, and not everyone will leave the villa alive.
Why I Can’t Wait To Read Strangers in the Villa:
I’ve been wanting to read a book by this author, and the synopsis makes this feel like a great place to start. I also enjoy thrillers set in Europe, and this sounds like the perfect setting.
