Determined to beat out inevitable all-cash buyers, she inserts herself into the homeowners’ lives—first through harmless stalking and small trespasses, then through increasingly extreme and unhinged tactics. But when her carefully orchestrated plan falters, Margo doubles down, proving there’s almost no line she won’t cross to claim the dream house—and the future—she believes is rightfully hers.
Read With Jenna (Jenna Bush Hager)’s pick:
In March 2019, the former First Daughter announced her book club on the Today show.  Each month she chooses a book that is sure to generate discussion.  Jenna chose “Pride and Prejudice ” by Jane Austen as her December 2025 pick.

Pride and Prejudice follows the spirited Elizabeth Bennet as she navigates family pressures, social expectations, and her own quick judgments while sparring with the proud—and secretly kind—Mr. Darcy. Set against the witty, observant backdrop of Regency-era society, the novel explores themes of pride, class, reputation, and the transformative power of self-awareness.

Oprah Winfrey started this book club in 1996 as a segment on her TV show. Many obscure titles have risen to bestseller status as a result of her picks. Oprah’s latest pick is expected to be “Some Bright Nowhere” by Ann Packer.

Trish
It seems unusual to see Pride & Prejudice on a celebrity book club – I would have thought they would go for more recent books. I do love the book thought!
Also, the name Alexandrina is fantastic! I remember in junior high wishing that my name could be Alexandra.

Maybe it’s time for me to finally read or listen to Pride and Prejudice. Maybe that’s why she picked a classic.

It’s the 250th Anniversary of the book Carla so I think that’s why she chose it.
