It’s All About Travel for May 2025 : Where Books Have Taken Me reflects my love of travel – and books. I like exploring new countries, being introduced to new cultures and learn about its history. I came across Bookish Travel’s post in which she shares about where in the world her books took her each month. It sounds like such a great idea to combine my passion for both books and travel that I have decided to create a monthly post called It’s All About Travel sharing where I’ve travelled to in books each month. Note I will not change what I’m reading in order to travel to different countries.
In It’s All About Travel for May 2025, I’ve travelled to several new U.S. states – Oregon, Michigan, Alaska and New Jersey. Click on the book’s cover to read my review or add it to your Goodread’s shelf. The map shows where I’ve travelled to so far in 2025.

New Jersey:
Italy, New York, California:
Oregon:
Pennsylvania:

Michigan:
England:

Note: This book is also known as “A Secret Escape”.
There you have it! It’s All About Travel for May 2025. Where did you travel to in your books this month? Let me know in the comments.
As always, I wish you a wonderful day.

This is a fun post, I love how books have the power to transport me and introduce me to different parts of the world – they’ve actually inspired me to book flights and change my plans in the past.

I am enjoying doing this too. Did I ask you before how you do the map? If you haven’t had a chance to comment on my post like this for May, would you stop by and give me some tips on how to do the map? I really like the way you do that! It looks like we visited a few of the same places last month too! Although in different books, lol.

Just go to the website listed on the map and remember to save it for the next month Lisa.

You had lots of travel around the US in May, Jodie. Alaska is a good one. I need to read that Jennifer Weiner book.
