Welcome to Stacking the Shelves #12! This meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Review and the last few years it’s been co-hosted at Team Tynga’s and at Reading Reality.
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
So without further adieu, let me show you what I’ve received this week!
Netgalley Ebook:
From The Publisher:
Two people get a second chance at love in this heartwarming story by author Nancy Naigle, The Wedding Ranch…
Not much of a synopsis, but I like the author!
Netgalley Audiobook:
From The Publisher:
He’s given up on love. But one little letter might change everything…
Single mum Bonnie is a born romantic. But she’s been seriously let down by love. Her good-for-nothing husband walked out on her and daughter Paige two years ago, and hasn’t been heard from since.
Between trying to make ends meet, managing teenage mood swings and the serious lack of eligible bachelors in her small town, Bonnie has all but given up on finding her happily ever after.
Although if real-life romance is in short supply, it doesn’t mean Bonnie can’t indulge in a harmless imaginary one. She’s started writing to her totally unattainable dream man, baring her soul before screwing up the pages and tossing them straight in the trash…
But when fate intervenes and Bonnie actually meets the man she never thought she could have, events take an interesting turn. Envelopes addressed to her start mysteriously arriving on her doorstep. Although Bonnie never sent him any of the letters she wrote, he has now begun writing to her.
Is Bonnie about to discover that dreams really do come true?
A fabulously funny and warm romantic comedy that fans of Josie Silver, Holly Martin and Lindsey Kelk will absolutely love!

Sarah @ All The Book Blog Names Are Taken
Hope you enjoy your new books! NetGalley is so dangerous for me, so that’s why I do the monthly State of the ARC to at least TRY to hold myself accountable. It took ages but I scratched and clawed my way to a 95%.
thathappyreader
I agree Sarah! Being Canadian, I don’t have access to all the books that those that live in the U.S. do but I maintain at least 90% at all times and have for the past couple of years.
Terrie @ Bookshelf Journeys
It’s easy to get overly ambitious with Netgalley. I try to limit what I request and I always get books read before their publish date, but sometimes that means they sit there for a few months! I do like reading backlist books too and have many on my shelves, so it’s an ongoing organizational battle to figure out priorities. Plus I just don’t read as fast as some I guess! I’m not sure what the percentage represents…..is it how many books you have unread vs read, or is it about reviews submitted, or??? If Netgalley prefers an 80% ratio of read to unread books, I better slow down my requests – think I’m at about 70%. Looks like you’ve good some good lighthearted reading ahead of you.
here’s me this week: https://www.bookshelfjourneys.com/post/sunday-post-5

Thanks for reading Terrie. The Netgalley ratio is the number of books approved of which you’ve submitted feedback for. They recommend staying at or above 80%. It is a juggling act for sure!
Greg
These both look nice! Hope you have a nice weekend and happy reading!

Loren
I’ve read a couple of Nancy Naigle’s books and really enjoyed them so I’ll be adding The Wedding Ranch to my TBR! The Time of My Life sounds intriguing but fun and will have to see of my library is carrying it in either ebook or physical format.
Thanks for sharing and happy reading!
