They meet as individuals out with friends and feel an immediate connection. &nbsp;Each has the opportunity for job advancement by using the other in a fake relationship lasting 2 weeks. &nbsp;What they don\u2019t know is they are both faking the relationship and for the same reason. &nbsp;Predictably, at the end of the 2 weeks, neither of them want the relationship to end.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #45818e;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #45818e;\">While I appreciate the storyline of reinventing How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, unlike the movie this book did not meet my expectations. &nbsp;I did not connect to, or even like, &nbsp;Hannah finding her to be far too brash. Don\u2019t get me wrong &#8211; I love the idea of a strong woman character. &nbsp;But I felt Hannah didn\u2019t really want to be liked but rather enjoyed being the \u201cbitch\u201d she self-proclaims to be &#8211; an attribute which I am not fond of.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #45818e;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #45818e;\">Having said that, I did find the storyline entertaining enough that I read to the end of the book. &nbsp;I don\u2019t expect this romance novel to be made into a Hallmark movie though.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #45818e;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #45818e;\">Thanks to Edelweiss Plus, Berkley and Penguin Publishing Group for the ARC of this book in exchange for the honest review provided here.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #45818e;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #45818e;\">My rating : \u2b50\ufe0f\u2b50\ufe0f\u2b50\ufe0f\/5.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hannah Mayfield and Jack Nolan have both been unlucky with previous relationships.
