My Week:
It’s been a fairly quiet for me. We had a lovely extended family dinner last weekend and it was nice to get back to doing these during the significant COVID activity of the past 2 years. My hubby and I also decided it was time to get our first of two Shingles vaccines (because we haven’t had enough immunizations lately LOL). As much as I wanted to, the weather has still been cool and windy much of the week so we haven’t bought anything else for the garden yet. Hopefully with the sun of this weekend, we can get out and start planting soon.

In 2016, I read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and really enjoyed it. When I learned that HBO was creating a series based on the book, I knew I wanted to watch. My hubby and I both enjoyed the first episode and look forward to viewing the rest of the series. Is anyone else watching? Here’s the trailer:

Both my mom and mother-in-law both had shingles. It was extremely painful for both of them, especially my MIL. I don’t quite qualify for the vaccine yet, but I will get it as soon as I do. I’m glad you and your husband got yours.
I want to watch the new THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE series on HBO Max. I liked the movie with Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana. I enjoyed the book, but I hated the ending (not because of the tragedy, but because of the letter; I don’t want to say more as to not spoil others who may read the comments).

The Time Travelers’s Wife looks good. I didn’t know Rose Leslie was in it- she was excellent in Vigil, a BBC drama I saw recently. And that guy looks like Four from Divergent? Anyway- the weather has been much the same here. A cool spring so far.

I read The Time Travelers Wife and watched the older movie. The series looks great. I don’t have HBO, but I might try to find a way to watch it! I hope the weather gets warm for you soon. We have warm weather here, but it’s been really windy too.

We had hot weather all week, so I booked my family to come over and help get the pool open. Of course it cooled down and rained. We got it open anyway, but I am not turning the heater on yet as it is supposed to be back in the 60s again. I’m curious to see what you thought of One Night With You by Laura Jane Williams. I am having a hard time getting into it.
