My Week:

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful, and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving weekend. 🧡

I hope everyone has something to be thankful for today and can spend time with friends or family making new memories. My sister is hosting us on Saturday, and I’ll be bringing a pie as my contribution to the meal.

On a more personal note, we finally got our car back on Wednesday! For those who don’t know, my hubby and I were rear-ended by a semi-truck on the way home from our anniversary lunch—just two weeks after my dad passed. To complicate things, the truck and driver were insured in a neighbouring province, and we’ve been told it could take up to a year to finalize the claim and get our deductible refunded. We’re hoping for an update from our insurer next week.

A quick update on the blog – I’ve changed comments to require approving before they are published to provide greater security of the blog.

What I’m Watching:

After the cliffhanger in last season’s finale, I was excited to watch the new season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve been following this show since it first aired in 2005, and it still manages to feel fresh and engaging after all these years. Is anyone else here a fan?
