Welcome to The Weekend Post #182! The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon and Marlene of Reading Reality in her meme Stacking The Shelves.
My Week:
We’ve had rain showers for most of the week, so the moments when the sun breaks through feel especially welcome. I spent a few hours in the ER with my mom, and I’m grateful it turned out to be nothing serious. I also celebrated my sixth anniversary of my blog this week – I can’t believe how fast the years have gone.
It’s been a relatively quiet week otherwise, though Mom, my sister, and I had a girls’ day out yesterday. We visited a flower nursery that transforms into a Christmas store this time of year and spent hours exploring all the unique holiday items. We even picked up a few fun food treats for stocking stuffers. We also stopped by Dad’s grave—the headstone is finally in place, and it looks beautiful.
On one of the rare dry days this week, my husband put up the Christmas lights on the house. I’ll probably start decorating the inside sometime next week, and I’m looking forward to it.
Books I’ve Added to My Shelves Recently:
From Publishers, Netgalley, & Libro.fm: I’ll be sharing some in a future post.
From The Library:

Siblings Avery and Reed Bond, still grieving the loss of their beloved Gram, plan to spend the holiday together but find their traditions derailed when Avery is stranded on a ferry in the Puget Sound and Reed is left waiting on shore. What first feels like an inconvenience soon transforms into a holiday blessing as Avery meets a charming sailor and witnesses a Christmas miracle, while Reed unexpectedly connects with a coworker in the same predicament. Filled with heart, humour, and holiday magic, this story shows how love and joy often appear when we least expect them.

Flora adores Christmas, so when her grumpy boss fires her from the Deck the Halls emporium, she seizes the chance to chase her dreams in the ultimate holiday destination—Lapland. Setting off in a campervan-turned-Christmas-shop, she’s ready for hot chocolate, reindeer rides, and all the festive magic she loves. What she doesn’t expect is Connor, a strikingly handsome man who captures her heart but despises everything about Christmas. Now, Flora must find a way to share her holiday spirit with him—and perhaps discover a little romance beneath the mistletoe.
From Audible: None.
What I’m Watching:
I watched Champage Problems on Netflix this week and really enjoyed it. If you love a romance set in France I highly recommend this movie to you.

I will definitely check out Champagne Problems as I like both romance and France!
I haven’t seen a lot of Xmas decorations going up in the neighborhood, but a neighbor’s porch is dazzling with lights!

Not too much for me either but I don’t turn on the outside Christmas lights until Dec 1.

I’m glad that was a not-too-long and not-too-serious visit to the ER. It is always stressful, though. The covers of the Christmas novels are lovely. I hope they hit the spot!
