It’s time for Who Wears it Better in December 2025? In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book. In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK). Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently.
If you’d like to learn more about these books before casting your vote — or add them to your Goodreads shelf — just click on either cover to head straight to their Goodreads page or to my review page if I’ve read the book.
I’ve added voting buttons to each of the five challenges, so please cast your votes for all of them and I’ll do the same. I will share the final results in next month’s post. But first, let’s review the results of last month’s battles!

Our December Battles (Polls Close December 31):
Snow Kissed By RaeAnne Thayne:

Our first battle this month features two books representing different publishers and editions. While the covers share many similarities, they also have distinct differences. I love both designs, which made this a tough choice. I’m drawn to the bold blue featured prominently on the Center Point cover, but I also adore the decorated Christmas tree on the Canary Street cover. If I have to choose just one, my vote goes to the Canary Street edition.
A Little Christmas Spirit by Sheila Roberts:

Our next matchup features two different covers from the same publisher, MIRA, each created for a different edition of the book. The mass market paperback showcases a beautiful white dog with a bow around its neck, while the hardcover edition highlights a charming white picket fence decorated beside a green house. I genuinely like both designs, but I’m a complete sucker for a dog on a cover—so the mass market edition wins my vote.
Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop by Rebecca Raisin:

Our next battle features two covers from different editions and publishers, and they couldn’t feel more different. The HQ Digital cover gives off a carnival vibe with its darker palette and dramatic red curtains, while the HarperCollins edition feels lighter, brighter, and more inviting. For this round, my pick is the HarperCollins cover.
A Ferry Merry Christmas by Debbie Macomber:

Our next battle brings together two covers from opposite sides of the Atlantic. The UK edition has a hand-sketched feel, while the US cover looks more like a blend of photography and computer-generated imagery. For me, the choice is clear—the UK cover wins my heart.
A Christmas Legacy by Anne Perry:

Our final battle this month once again features covers from different publishers and regions. The story is set in the Victorian era, and one cover captures that atmosphere far more effectively than the other—which ultimately decided my vote. My choice is the US cover.
So there you have it – Who Wears it Better in December 2025? I’d love to know which covers you prefer, so please vote to let me know! Looking for more covers to compare?
