It’s time for Who Wears it Better in October 2025? In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book. In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK). Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently.
If you’d like to learn more about these books before casting your vote — or add them to your Goodreads shelf — just click on either cover to head straight to their Goodreads page.
➡️ I’ve added voting buttons to each of the five challenges, so please cast your votes for all of them and I’ll do the same. I will share the final results in next month’s post. But first, let’s review the results of last month’s battles!

Our October Battles (Polls Close October 31):
Let’s Give’Em Pumpkin to Talk About by Isabelle Popp:

Our first battle this month features two different covers from the same publisher and format. Cover #1 shows a couple sitting in front of a giant pumpkin, while Cover #2 depicts a couple on a farm in the fall. Since the title includes the word pumpkin and the story centres around a pumpkin-growing contest, my vote goes to Afterglow Books #1.
A Merry Little Lie / All Together For Christmas by Sarah Morgan:

Our next battle features a book that not only has different covers by region but also a different title. The U.K. edition shows a wintry scene with three people and a dog playing in the snow, featuring bright, festive Christmas colours. The U.S. cover, on the other hand, depicts people tumbling into a box labelled A Novel, along with a snowman missing his head and a woman walking her dog, all in shades of pink and teal. This choice was an easy one for me—I prefer the U.K. cover for its joyful, festive vibe.
Always The Bridesmaid by Lindsey Kelk:

This battle features two different covers from the same publisher and in the same format—no regional differences this time. The 2015 cover showcases a red dress set against a yellow background, while the 2016 version shows the lower half of a woman in a blue skirt walking beside a bouquet of flowers, giving it a vintage feel. My favourite is the 2015 cover, as the dress evokes more of a bridal-party vibe.
Any Dream Will Do by Debbie Macomber:

This battle features two covers of the same book from different publishers, each representing a different region. The U.K. cover is whimsical, showing a couple chatting on a bench with a church in the background, while the U.S. cover features a striking photo of a red door framed by blooming bougainvillea. Although I like both designs, I’m more drawn to the U.S. cover with its bold red appeal.
Autumn Getaway by Jennifer Gracen:

Our final battle this month features two covers from different publication years, both giving off beautiful autumn vibes—and I love them both. The 2018 cover shows a couple holding hands against a backdrop of colourful fall leaves, while the 2014 edition features the manor mentioned in the synopsis, framed by trees in rich autumn tones. This one was a tougher choice, but if I have to pick, I’d go with the 2018 cover for its simplicity.

This was a tougher month, Jodie. I didn’t agree with you on all of them though. I initially look at what would draw my eye, but if I’ve already read the book, or know what it is about, that will also influence my decision. Thanks for this fun post.

I enjoy seeing the different covers of the same book and voting on my favorites! That is interesting that All Together for Christmas has a different title in the US, and I do prefer the UK version!
