The 20 Books of Summer 2025 Challenge is now hosted by Emma of Words and Peace and Anna of AnnaBookBel and runs between June 1st and September 1st. The aim is to read and review either 10, 15, or 20 books. Iβll be reading the full 20 books this summer which will include ebooks and audiobooks from a variety of sources. I participated in and completed this challenge the past few years and found it to be a lot of fun to see how everyone was progressing and what they were reading.
- The hosts report that The #20BooksofSummer2025 challenge runs from Sunday June 1st to Sunday August 31st
- The first rule of 20 Books is that there are no real rules, other than signing up for 10, 15 or 20 books and trying to read from your TBR.
- Pick your list in advance, or nominate a bookcase to read from, or pick at whim from your TBR.
- If you do pick a list, you can change it at any time β swap books in/out.
- Donβt get panicked at not reaching your target.
- Just enjoy a summer of great reading and make a bit of space on your shelves!
Here is my 20 Books of Summer 2025 Challenge reading list. This list is subject to change.

I will link my reviews to each book once the review is published.
You can follow my progress here as well as in my monthly wrapups.
- For The Record by Emma Lord
- Sunny Side Up by Katie Sturino
- Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- Out of the Clear Blue Sky by Kristan Higgins
- The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain by Hannah Brown
- Whistle by Linwood Barclay π¨π¦
- Beach House Rules by Kristy Woodson Harvey
- One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune π¨π¦
Will you be participating in this challenge? Are any of these on your list of books to read? Let me know in the comments!

This seems like a great challenge, and I liked seeing the books on your list! I’ve heard about Atmosphere, and it does look interesting. Also, I’ve only read Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell, and Don’t Let Him In sounds like it would be good too.
