October 2026 Who Wears it Better: Which Book Cover Is Your Favourite?

It’s time for the October 2026 Who Wears it Better? In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book.  In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK).  Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently. I’ve determined the order of placement of each photo based on the order they appear in Goodreads.  I’ll tell you what my choice is, so vote and let me know what your choice is!

The Best Christmas Ever by Sarah Morgan:

I love both of these covers! They are both colourful and full of whimsy – just what I’m looking for in a Christmas book. I’m very interested to see if the poll results reflect my difficulty in making a decision for this one. I do have to choose though and my choice is the U.K. Cover.

The Little Shop of Merry and Bright by Jenny Bayliss:

While I like each of these covers there is one that uses my preferred choice of colours. I’m surprised that the U.S. cover is not the U.K. cover as it feels more to me like a U.K. cover. The definitive choice for me is the U.K. cover.

This was another difficult battle for me – but will it be for you? I have gone back and forth between these covers so many times! My final decision however is for the Penguin Cover.

This battle was much easier for me as I much prefer the drama in the U.S. Cover to the Australian one. Do you feel the same way?

The Christmas Competition by Zoe Allison:

Our final battle this month is another close one for me as I love both of these covers. Don’t they just make you smile? I am going to choose the U.K. cover because I like the tagline on it, but I have a feeling this may also be a very close battle.
