Great recap, as always, Jodie! All the best for the fires in Canada; I hope they die out soon!

I wonder if you will get a traditional Canadian winter. Summer here has been all over the place. That book to TV movie looks good.

Canadian winters vary widely particularly since the country is so vast. I live in the area in the country that gets the mildest of winters. We are really seeing the impact of climate change so who knows how mild our winter will be. Thanks for reading Jamie.

I have never even come close to 23,000 steps, not even on my very best walking day. Kudos to you, Jodie!

I think I need to see where You with a View takes place. It looks promising.

Thank you Deb! I’m early into the book but the beginning takes place in California Deb.

I hope you get lots of rainy Spring weather to dampen the fires
It’s a little too early for Christmas books for me, but I hope you enjoy them

Wishing you a great reading week

Thanks Shelleyrae! I can tell you’re in the southern hemisphere as we’re going into Fall not Spring! I enjoy Christmas books anytime from September to December ☺️ but I know not everyone does.

Glad to hear that things are becoming a bit cooler – let’s hope it’s enough to put out there terrible fires… My hibiscus bush is also smothered in blossom – though these are the smaller variety. Anything that’s flowering now until the frosts has a special place in my heart… Have a great week, Jodie:).

I feel the same way about the fire and the flowers! Thanks for reading.

  6. Anne - Books of My Heart

I really enjoyed The Honeymoon Crashers on audio. Although it is shorter in length, it has a full cast narration. I wish for our cooler September air to get here. It looks like we will get it after the HOT week ahead. That’s a lot of steps! I’ve only gotten into the teens on a walking vacation like NYC.

Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post

It is rapidly approaching fall but nice that the gardens are still producing some late summer goodness. 🙂

I really liked Eric McCormack in Travelers

Looks like you are embracing Christmas books… enjoy! 23,000 steps is really amazing. I’m not sure I’ve every had that many. Hope you have a good week.

I love that you already know what you are planning to post this week! I feel like I am mostly winging it these days. I hope you have a great rest of your weekend!

The vast majority of my reads are planned months in advance actually Cindy! I like to plan (I know not everyone does). Thanks for reading!

I sure hope the rest of the province gets some rain soon. Wow 23,000 steps is awesome. I think my best day was 19,000 and that was unusual. I loved the Christmas Dess and hope you do too Jodie. Have a wonderful week.

I did enjoy the book Carla! I’m hoping that my library will bring in her 2023 Christmas book!

Wow! That is a ton of steps! Great job! I need to get that Honeymoon Crashers as I loved the book it goes with. I also want to read You, With a View, so will be eager to see what you think! Have a great week, hope you get the temps and weather you need to help with the fires and air quality.
