My Week:
It’s been a lovely week weather-wise with seasonal temperatures and sunshine. The fire activity in the province has been able to be more controlled but the danger of new fires remains for the next few weeks. It is heartwarming to see many of those that left their homes due to fire orders being able to return. My thoughts and prayers remain with those that have lost their homes.
I’ve been trying to prepare for my upcoming trip including scheduling some posts while I will be away. On Friday I accompanied my Mom for a medical test. Later today we will be celebrating my parent’s 64th anniversary with a family gathering. This is a wonderful milestone and one that we do not take for granted. We’re also celebrating my brother-in-law’s 60th birthday.

What I’m Watching:
I’m a big romantic comedy fan and Love at First Sight, an upcoming Netflix film, caught my eye. It’s based on the book ‘The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight’ by Jennifer E. Smith and stars Haley Lu Richardson (White Lotus) and Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody). In the film, the couple meet during a flight from New York to London. It premieres on September 15.
