My Week:
We had a lovely week of warmer than normal weather which meant daily walks were enjoyable. Spring has arrived and so have the daffodils and pulmonaria. The grass has grown and this weekend it will be cut for the first time this season. Drought warnings were announced for late spring and summer and we need to start preparing for that. It’s also time to start some spring cleaning and I need to get onto this somewhat before our April getaway. Work before fun, right? Saturday I went to the mall to pick up an order and to do a bit of shopping.
What I’m Watching:
I resubscribed to Apple TV+ this week as I wanted to watch the new series Palm Royale. It’s set in Palm Beach in the late 1960’s and is an underdog story of a woman trying to climb the social ladder to high society by joining the Palm Royale country club. It has an all-star cast including Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin and Carol Burnett. I’ve enjoyed the initial first three episodes. Here’s the trailer:

Anne - Books of My Heart
I need to do more yard work and it will finally warm up later this week so I can. I had Apple+ free through some credit card or other things for 6 months and only watched one show right before it expired. Now I think I have another offer for free through T-mobile. But I am horrible about watching streaming. We have Disney+ since November and I haven’t watched it yet. There’s things I want to see but I have other priorities.

OMG thanks for telling us about Palm Royale!!! Ricky Martin as a cute cabana boy??? Say less!!!! Carol Burnett, Laura Dern, Allison Janney???? I love them! I thought maybe that lead actress was Brianne Howey from Ginny & Georgia but I see it’s Kristin Wiig, who I’m not familiar with even though she’s been in a ton of stuff.

I’m so far behind on commenting! I hope you were able to get things done like you wanted. We have had temps up and down, nice spring weather, even up to 80 last Sunday! And then this week we’ve had some freezing temps in the morning again.
