My Week:
We had a great mini-vacation to Las Vegas this week. The weather was lovely and the food delicious. We visited the newest hotel and casino which opened in December called the Fontainebleu and it absolutely gorgeous. We stayed at the beautiful Bellagio hotel and enjoyed ourselves. Once again, their conservatory held a beautiful spring display and the scent was heavenly.
While we were there my Dad was given great news that his treatment for his blood cancer is working! What a relief it was to be given this news. He did have two biopsies a couple of days before I left for one of his other cancers and we are awaiting the results of these.
What I’m Watching:
We watched “Blind Date Book Club” starring Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley recently and I really enjoyed it. It’s the story of a Nantucket bookshop owner who sets customers on blind dates via her book club. It aired on the W Network here in Canada and the Hallmark channel in the U.S.

That is great news about your dad! I hope he continues to get good news about his health. What a wonderful vacation you had! Love the photos. We stopped in Las Vegas on our way home from Utah last summer, although didn’t spend the night. Blind Date Book Club sounds like a great movie.
