My Week:
It’s been a lovely week, with a good amount of rain early on followed by sunnier skies beginning Tuesday. It’s also been a fairly quiet week.
Lately, I’ve been focusing on revising my exercise routine, as I realized I was walking too much for my joints. So far, the change has been going well. Five days a week, I’m now doing a combination of biking, strength training, and stretching for about 90 minutes in total. On the remaining days, I’ll go for a long walk instead.

After losing everything and being forced out of her New York apartment, struggling author Holly Sinclair returns to her family’s rundown beach house in a coastal New England town determined to write a bestselling novel and rebuild her life. As she reconnects with the community, she finds unexpected support from a determined Realtor, a helpful handyman, and a psychic who warns of looming danger, while secretly sheltering Jade, a runaway teen seeking safety and a fresh start. When Jade begins working for the influential but troubled Carmichael family—whose history is tied to Holly’s own past—long-buried secrets begin to surface. With someone in town watching her closely and hidden truths threatening to resurface, Holly realizes that escaping the past may be impossible as danger draws ever closer.

In this dual-timeline mystery, newly divorced Riley Bell takes a caretaker job for an elderly widow named Betty, whose isolated, old-fashioned lifestyle hides decades of secrets tied to a forgotten 1960s parapsychology experiment. Back then, four gifted young women at a prestigious university became the focus of a visionary scientist’s groundbreaking research into extrasensory perception—until they suddenly vanished and the entire program was erased from history. As Riley uncovers the truth behind Betty’s past and the mysterious disappearance of the women, long-buried secrets resurface, forcing both timelines to collide in a suspenseful search for answers that has endured for sixty years.
What I’m Watching:
I’m excited to watch the fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm when it releases on Prime on June 4. Clarkson’s Farm is a British television documentary series about Jeremy Clarkson and his farm in the Cotswolds. Clarkson has no prior farming experience which makes for a highly entertaining show. Is anyone else a fan of the show?
