My Week:
It’s been a wonderful week of weather here. The temperatures have been warm but not hot, and we’ve had a little bit of rain as well. I love these kinds of temperatures because they don’t restrict me from doing anything outside at any time of the day. The predictions of a very strong El Niño continuing through February have me appreciating these beautiful days even more. We’re expecting a significantly warmer, milder winter with less snowpack in the mountains. We didn’t have any snow last year, and we really need a good snowpack this year to help us get out of these drought conditions.
On Sunday, I took my Mom on a shopping trip to the mall. We had a few things we wanted to pick up that were on sale, and she and I have always enjoyed shopping together. Our trips are shorter these days than the all-day shopping marathons we used to have, but we enjoy them just as much. It’s nice to have that time together.
My hubby and I had a nice day out on Wednesday, and I had a pedicure on Thursday, which I always appreciate.
