It’s time for Who Wears it Better in July 2026? In this feature, I look at different book covers used for the same book.  In some cases, the cover is chosen by geography (e.g. North America or UK).  Other times, it’s based on the edition of the book (hardcover, paperback, kindle etc). Where it becomes confusing is when the book is given a completely different title! Just for fun, and because I love talking books, let’s see what different books covers I’ve noticed recently.  I’ll tell you what my choice is, so vote and let me know what your choice is! Thanks to reader Jamie for the first three battles this month.
But first, let’s review the results of last month’s battles:

Now onto:
Our July Battles (Polls close July 24):
Hollow Bones by Jodi Picoult:

This was a really difficult choice because I love both covers, but the vibrant blue of the U.S. cover ultimately won me over. It’s my pick.
That Night by Gillian McAllister:

I love the colours in both of these covers, but one stood out just a little more to me—the U.S. cover, thanks to that stunning magenta sky.
The Good Eye by Jess Gibson:

This isn’t the type of cover I’m naturally drawn to, as this graphic style doesn’t really appeal to me. That said, of the two options, the Vintage Digital cover speaks to me more, making it my choice in this matchup.
The Deal by Elle Kennedy:

This book has had several covers over the years, so I picked three of them for this battle. The Piatkus cover has a wonderfully whimsical charm that really appeals to me, making it my favourite of the three. I’ll reveal the two top vote-getters next month.
The Final Target by Nora Roberts:

U.K. Cover
The final battle this month was a tough one because I genuinely love both of these covers. I have a feeling it’s going to be a close contest. After much pondering, I’ve decided to cast my vote for the U.S. cover.
So there you have it – Who Wears it Better in July 2026? I’d love to know which covers you prefer, so please vote to let me know! Do you have a cover you’d like me to feature in an upcoming battle? Let me know in the comments. I hope you have a wonderful day!
