My Week:

It rained! 🌧️

We were so happy to see some rain this week. One evening, a thunderstorm rolled through and brought rain that continued into the overnight hours. We really needed it, along with the sprinkling of showers we had on Thursday.

We had a few hot days, but by the end of the week, it was feeling much more like fall. Every year, we remark on how quickly the transition to fall happens here. It’s almost as if someone simply flips a switch! 🍂 Does the change from summer to fall happen that quickly where you live?

I had a dentist appointment this week, which went well, and I also went shopping several times. I recently learned about a pop-up bookshop that had opened in one of our local malls, so of course I had to check it out! It only had about 75 different books for sale, but it was still fun to browse and see what they had.

My hubby and I also went out for lunch and enjoyed a little casino fun this week. We had a great time!

And now, I have a question for those of you who are on Instagram. I frequently receive messages that say something along the lines of, “Feel free to send it to X. I’d be happy to feature it on my Bookstagram page.”

I honestly don’t understand these comments. Why wouldn’t they just share the post normally? I haven’t responded to any of these messages because, to me, they just sound a little… nefarious. 🤔

What is your take on these kinds of messages? Have you received them, and what do you do when you get them? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

What I’m Watching:

We watched a couple of Netflix films over the past week and enjoyed both of them. I recommend both Don’t Say Good Luck and The Life List.
