My Week:
We experienced our first atmospheric river of the season this week, with heavy rain falling for the better part of 24 hours. Since then, we’ve had cool, crisp mornings and warm afternoons—the kind of weather that really feels like fall to me. I’ve recently discovered Bath & Body Works Wallflowers and have been loving their scents, which have added another layer of fall coziness to the house. Pumpkin Bonfire is my October choice for anyone who enjoys the Wallflower plugins. Are you a fan of their products? If so, do you have any favourite scents?
I did some shopping on several days this week and even managed to pick up a Christmas stocking stuffer! I also spent some time with Mom, helping her out as much as I can while she recovers from her injury, and took my brother for his hand surgery this week. I’ve also been dealing with headaches recently, which are likely related to my chronic neck problems. I’m hoping they settle down soon.

Lydia is struggling to balance her successful career in New York with a new relationship, Florie is torn between love and the prospect of moving to Wisconsin with her poet boyfriend, and Lucas is anxious about revealing his unexpected career change to his father. As the family reconnects with old friends and former loves during the Stroll, long-held secrets and complicated emotions threaten to overshadow the festivities, but amid champagne, Christmas treats and sparkling celebrations, the Parsons discover that family and love can make even the most challenging holiday season brighter.
